Reflections and Forecasts of Climate Markets in the 21st Century: Closed-door Discussion with Paula DiPerna
4pm – 5:30pm
HKMA Auditorium, 55/F, Two IFC

Paula is a renowned author, public speaker, media commentator, and filmmaker and was a central figure in the establishment of the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX), the world’s first cap and trade system covering all six major greenhouse gases. She has extensive experience in the fields of climate change and green finance where she has explored the price of nature that ultimately led her to carbon markets and her work with CCX as well as the Tianjin Climate Exchange.

Paula is launching a new book, “Carbon Hunters: Reflections and Forecasts of Climate Markets in the 21st Century”, which she has co-authored with Richard Sandor, often referred to as the “father of carbon trading”. Paula was a visiting Fellow at Civic Exchange, and we are delighted to welcome her back to Hong Kong for a private sharing and discussion on the state of the carbon markets and Hong Kong’s role in its future development.
